i resigned !
ok so i haven't really vented here but i was miserable about my commute my job etc
for years now... and today I finally got up the nerve to put in my two weeks.. seeing a few girls go through the same thing this week on the boards totally inspired me..
so thank you all who quit this week and last week .. u were my motivation
luckily my dh is totally supportive and im gonan take a few weeks then look for somethign in retail b/c i loooove retail (everyone tells me im crazy haha)... so bye bye corporate america..
im almost FREEE
i can't stop grinning even though i know everyone in my office will be cranky with me for 2 weeks haha...

when i did a "drive by" in your 'hood, i thought about what kind of commute you must have!
so happy to hear that you're doing what will make you happy.
i'm in a similar position. i HATE my job and i'm actively looking for something new. i've even thought of retail, too.
maybe we can get together for lunch on a friday instead of a "weekend"... i have half-day fridays.
again, congrats!!!!
