Are you OK with having your baby somewhere else if you go into labor? If you are, then I say go for it. If you are not interested in the possibility of having your baby in a hospital other than yours, then I would not go.
i agree. there is a chance, however small, that you could go a little early and end up giving birth on your trip! if you are okay with that, then go for it, if not i would stay home.

This is basically what I was going to say..I wouldnt really care if I had to deliver out of state etc..so If this isnt a big issue with you then by all means go.

i would not... i couldn't see sitting in a car for that long...i'd have to take a lot of breaks, plus i just dont think it would be comfortable.
and....what if you happen to go into labor early?

I agree with this, personally in my specific case, I would be too nervous.
