Windows!
As soon as FH and I get back from our honeymoon in August  , we need to get new windows....
any recs? We need 7 regular windows (nothing fancy), pics of my house are in my album - we just need front windows - how much should I expect to shell out? I want Andersens or Pella replacements, but our windows are large (approx 41.5 x 41.5)
Lowes said about $250 per window (with the square grates) for a double hung tilt wash Pella....didnt include installation

We got all our replacement windows from Lowe's, the Pella ones you described above. I have no idea what we paid, but we got double hung for some windows and casement for others. We hired a GC to install them, it was much cheaper than what Lowe's wanted for installation.

Alside Excalibur windows...we got these and love them. You gotta go to an Aliside dealer.

We got replacements...Certainteed. I never heard of it before but apparently they are one step up from Andersen replacements. I am very happy with them.
We use Active Door and Window. If you need a name/# fm me.
