I don't like the way "tanning" looks at all. A little color from being outside - I think that looks healthy and fine. But tans, no way, I think they're yuck.

It is near impossible for me to tan and I have accepted my massive whiteness. I keep thinking that as I get older, I won't have as many wrinkles because I don't have damage from the sun. At least, I hope it works that way! LOL

I would never do it, never have. In the past I got some bad sunburns, I am very conscientious now to always put on sunblock. I don't think having "color" is worth getting skin cancer or looking like I am 65 when I am 40.
I have pale skin and have accepted it! 
This is me as well.. I damaged my skin ALOT when I was in my teens...now I am crazy about sunblock.... I am trying to make up for all of the damage I am sure I have already done

i feel so much more attractive when Im tan....I used to go to the tanning salon 1-2/week.
But lately I have become so conscience of sun damage from the UV rays that I have given up tanning completely and invested in neutragena self tanning cream!

I DO NOT THINK TANNING IS GOOD AT ALL! I have not gone in the sun without 50 spf block and a big floppy hat in almost 8 years !!! I only use self tanner to give myself some color. Tanning is so incredibly bad for your skin its scary. The sun is so dangerous. Besides looking terrible as you age, there are so many cancers associated with sun exposure. Please everyone stay out of the sun!! I don't mean to be preachy but I can't help it!

Nope no more tanning for me.. those days are long over.. I haven't tanned since I was 27 for fear of ending up looking like Magda. Since I walk everyday i do put on sun block and wear big sunglasses... During the summer I may let my arms and chest get some color while i walk but I am also afraid of skin cancer.. DH loves to tan (which I tell him all the time isn't good for him).. and he has a field day on my ghost white legs.. but I don't care

Not a fan of tanning salons..but I do love the beach and having a tan~
I use sunblock and will sit under the umbrella to get out of the sun for a while.
ETA: like domsmom...I get a dark tan very fast and it lasts...I used to stay ALL day at the beach and now we stay for a couple of hours~
