Baby GIft
My best friend is due in about 2 weeks..I know once he's born she's going to be getting tons of flowers and little outfits for him....When I go to see the baby I was thinking of maybe doing something different..something more for her maybe and a little something for the baby...does any one have any suggestions or has anyone gotten something different like that when they had their babies??

I just got one of our friends this really awesome blanket for the baby. It's called Taggies. It's a super soft blanket that has different "tags" (ribbons) on it. Babies often take a liking to silk items so these two friends came up with a product line. I've seen the Taggies on PJ's too.

Great idea!!
A gift certificate for a spa treatment would be great and very unique. Or even a gift certificate for a restaurant for a night out (assuming they have someone they trust (family) to babysit).
I bought a friend a baby book. she loved it.

I bought a friend a baby book. she loved it.
This is great. Also, throw in a homemade "gift certificat" for a night of babysitting so she can take advantage!

A friend gave DH and I two huge Starbucks coffee mugs, Dunkin Donuts and starbucks coffee and gift certificates to both. She has a baby and said the coffee would do us good...and it did

I say you get a gift card for a restaurant that does take out or delivery. THAT would be beyond useful. I've eaten more take out in the ten months since Ava was than my entire life.

Here's my spin... what do you get for a mother that's due in two weeks with TWINS? She will have FIVE KIDS by this point. I'm thinking I'll get her a better line of BIRTH CONTROL PILLS. No?
