It's not a sad song but I now bawl every time I hear "My Girl" because that is what I danced with my dad to....and the song by Celine Dion from the movie with Michelle Pfieiffer and Harrison Ford (I pre-empted My Girl with the chorus of that song with my dad)
I'm such a daddy's girl and I miss him so much that these songs bring me to tears and make me miss him so much more!

I don't know who sings it either, but I was at a wake for a 22 yr old, and the song was playing as his dad was saying goodbye. That is a powerful song
