What's a good theme song for a "typical NJ girl"?
Not to be offensive, it's research for a play, honestly. if you had to think of a theme song..any song to be a theme for a "typical NJ girl", says she's from new york, bleached blonde, fake boobs, obsessed with appearance
I'm not saying I see this as what a person from NJ is, it's play research...
it would help me out a LOT

I know I said any song, but not something spoofy. Either a song that would describe her, or that she'd live her life by, or just she would like, or that would bring her "aura" to mind.
I don't know much Springsteen, but I kow NJ people like him. Any suggestions>

As a Staten Islander who goes to Djai's during the summer, definitely Diamond Girl. Also, they love ABBA's Dancing Queen.
Living on a Prayer is the anthem as well as Runaway by Bon Jovi.

My SIL is from NJ and she said that even though she does not like Springsteen, she loves this song.

I'm from NJ...
We tend to like Bon Jovi since he's from Sayreville (central NJ)
Jersey here !!! Yup, prefer Bon Jovi! I have to say, I'm not a fan of Bruce Springsteen, never have been.

that is THE SONG
(I am a NY transplant living in NJ)
so it's all about Bruce if you are from NJ just like it's about Billy if you are from LI
