Yes.... And I had to listen to it AGAIN this weekend by my mother. Geeez, get over it, it's been a year!
My parents are divorced and my mother is convinced the photog. and video guy liked my father and stepmother better.

mel...after watching our video I noticed my family was on the video more than DH's..BUT I have a larger family and my family tends to take over at parties!!!!
No ones fault...dont stress over it!

Not over the video (yet) since we didnt get it back yet-any day now-however I am sure my family is on there more since there were more of them than DHS family and DHS family didnt get UP as much as mine did...
HOWEVER, for the proofs-my mother said that there were many more of DH and his mom dancing than my dad and I-but she was completely correct in that observation-
PS they will get over it-let them vent-go in one ear and out the other

I say this as someone who does not have a wedding video....
Do these complaniers ever think that maybe they weren't all that pleasant to the video guy or that they shy away from the photos? Anyone I know that hams it up seems to find themselves in plenty of photos.

definitely happens --- some people are drawn to the video. i mean, there is a five min. clip almost of just ME dancing, twirling, kissing the camera.
when people try to say something i shut them down.
you didn't film it or edit it yourself...that's what I always say!

We have an unedited version of our video as we get to have a bit of a say in how it is edited. However, the camera focused more on us that anyone else. If one side has a complaint, just let them get in my face. We paid for it.

I paid extra to have some of my IL's edited OUT...if my MIL asks about it, I'm more than happy to tell her that I had to pay extra to edit out her animal niece's obnoxious behavior.

Most of my wedding video is of my family because they were up dancing the entire night. at one point, my videographer panned around my DH's side of the room & mostly everyone was at the table. Then you see my side & it was empty!

it never ends-- it was really more with the pics, than the video- but it was both. There was actually more of DH's family than mine-- but there are a lot more of them.

Be glad you got it!!!!
We had to wait FOREVER--constantly calling, e-mailing, faxing him when we were gonna get it. it was supposed to be edited, but in the end we just wanted what he had. We'll get it edited and copied by someone else. The whole process was a nightmare.
