I love my German Shepherd Rocky and can't believe how much I miss him since I've gotten married (he had to stay with my parents) I actually feel a VOID in my soul that other people find hard to understand. There's just no explaining it...
And now I have my baby bunny, Trix and I LOVE HER TO DEATH as well! She's my baby and I actually get excited to go home after work so I can spend some time with her. It goes beyond just having a liking for a "pet" it is love and my life is incomplete without any fur babies in it.

Yes, so much so that it physically hurts when I think that one day he won't be here (all the more reason to keep spoiling him ).

When I moved out here from Colorado I cried...for her not me!!

I was afraid I was taking her away from a better life wondering the mountains going to a fenced in backyard.

I had mothers guilt for sure.
I still do from time to time but shes spoiled anyway.

We love our puppy

I love how Simba just loves to love things no matter what it is or how big it is. When children see him and yell out "doggie" Simba just sits right down next to them and lets them pet him and he just curls up to them.

I had a little kid who I see every once in a while say to me "I love your doggie and Simba just put his head against the kid" It melted my heart. It was like he understood her and he wanted to know he loved her too.

He saw a frog in our driveway and when the frog jumped he jumped. I thought it was hysterical.

I love how he's so sensative. I wasnt feeling good and I told him "simbe momma dont feel good" Simba got his favorite toy, brought it over to me, layed it on my lap and then curled up next to me with his head on my lap.

I love how he thinks he's a chihuahua. He loves to sit on my lap and when I tell him "you are not a chihuahua you are a golden retriever" he gets so upset. One afternoon he got up and moped. He sat in the corner and ignored me for the rest of the day. It was like I insulted him. Finally I told him "ok ok you're a chihuahua" and then he was happy.

When I look at Simba running with a ball in his mouth galloping towards me with excitement I think of how he has such a wonderful life with us (compared to where he came from) and think does he really understand how much we truely love him. Then he drops the ball and stares at me with his adoring eyes and I toss it down the hallway I look at him and know yea he definatly knows we love him.

Words can not express how much i love my children.
People think i am ridiculous, but i dont care. they arent "like" my kids, they definatly 110% ARE my kids.
i was so nervous getting another dog each time cuz i didnt think i could "love them as much" .... but that definatly wasnt the case.
if i even THINK about them dying i start to cry.
i couldnt imagine what it would be like to not have them velcroed to me at all times.
they are the most precious gift i could have ever recieved.
sometimes i dont even want to think about having a baby cuz i dont want them to come second.
they are my first priority in life. my dh gets jealous
i just love them to death.
they are so amazing. im so glad they came into my life, id be incomplete without them.
