I've never sent any and I accept all. I've only got about 5 anyway.
To be honest I don't really get the friend thing. Is it just to prove who is more popular? There isn't any added functionality with making someone your friend, right?

I agree with you...don't really understand the point. But I accept all...and don't have that many anyway.
I use it so I can remember how to spell funky screen names. Especially the ones with digits.
