None of my friends are like me, but they all have similar personalities with each other. I have a very strong personality and to tell you the truth, I don't know if I could hang out with people who also have a strong personality. I tend to surround myself with passive people.

I have a few different "groups" of friends. One of the groups I would say is at the same stage as me and are alot like me. The other groups are similr to me in some ways, but at different stages in life.

I feel the same way! I have groups of friends that represent different parts of me - my crafty side, my teacher side, my friends from kindergarten, etc. Some are very similar to me and some are not.

Mostly the same personality and sense of humor wise.
I met my closest friends in high school and we are celebrating 21 years of friendship. Actually, we are all in the "helping professions"... elem. teacher, high school teacher, pharmacist, volunterr coordinator for a hospital

Most are pretty different. I find most of my friends are really relaxed and non judgemental though..I dont have any "uptight" friends, so we are similair there....but in other ways VERY different....

My friends now are a huge mix of people!!
The ones I see the most are from the motorcycle club....I am the youngest (30) and the oldest is 56.....
All of us have differnet personalities, lead totally different types of family lives....but we came together because we love to ride, so we do have that in common!
As far as my old group of friends, well we always had in common just hanging out, camping, partying ect. (all the things you do when you're all 20 somethings!!), but now some have started having kids, buying houses well before us and all those other life changes & I find we have less in common & don't see them as much.
Edited to add: that the old group of friends ranges from 4-8 years older then us, so they of course did lots of things before we were ready!

The ones I am closest with I would say are more like me. I do have a large mix of friends, but I have a group from HS that I have been friends with for almost 25 years. Different life experiences, jobs, moves, marriages and children have changed us from who we were when we met. We are all still friends, but I wonder if we met today if we would still be friends.

I would say similar sense of humor - some have a level of the "Mean Girls" going which I detest. We all have completely different situations (finances, marital status, children, etc).
