I have the bracelet myself 
My DH's nieces are 16 and we are going down to florida for their sweet 16. My hubby suggested money and I love money $$$ but I love my tiff bracelet too I just feel they can wear it and remember us you know

At the moment - cash.
But in retrospect (hindsight being 20/20 and all) - the bracelet.
ETA: At 16 I would have loved the cash and would have blown it on clothes, fast food and hanging out with friends. A year later I wouldn't have been able to tell you how I spent it and I would probably have nothing to show for it. The bracelet? She'll have it forever.. and when she's 30 she'll look at it and remember her Sweet 16 and the person who gave her that memory.

Bracelet -- shows more thought than cash and yes, they will think of you when they wear it. I love wearing special pieces that people I love gave me....
