yesterday's cake vent - Pics! - UPDATE
for those who saw my post yesterday about the christening cake - this is what i was referring to... would you find this acceptable?   it was this way all over the cake!
we are meeting with them today, i WILL get my money back!
UPDATE - the freaking girl who told me to go in at 530 WASNT THERE   I almost lost it! I'm done, I am demanding EVERY PENNY back!  Once again, I have to wait for them to call me back... if they ever do... Black Forest succcks, dont ever use them!
now THIS is quilting!

That is terrible-you should definitely get your money back.
And, I think you are being extremely reasonable in just asking for the extra cost of the quilting to be refunded.

i dont know, she was telling me that she thought it looked GREAT?!  ummmm are we looking at the same cake lady? 
then i thought maybe im just overreacting but you know what, even if it was only $5 extra, I would want that $5 back!
(it was $20 and then $20 for the blue fondant I obviously didnt get )

I would demand that $40 back. And like I siad yesterday, I thnk they should also offer you a credit for a future purchase, not that you would ever use them again.

Ummmm great? That is the shoddiest workmanship I have ever seen. Crooked, different depths ugh. I would ask for all my money back!

i figured no one noticed, i didnt make a big deal of it there but believe me, as soon as i saw it - i marched over to larry and said "we are calling them as soon as we walk out the door after the party"

As a guest, I wouldn't have noticed but, since you paid extra for it, and for the blue fondant, they definitely owe you a refund.

You should absolutely ask for the additional money back for the blue fondant and the quilting! And, I would also speak to a manager (in person) or the owner (if possible) to explain how dissatisfied you were both with the cake design, and the way you were treated when you called about it.

That is NOT a professional looking cake at all. Looks like someone TRIED to do a quilting but did not take the class or just started a craft class at Michael's.
You need to get your money back.
