YAYA....not going to hell as worst mom ever! Luce got gifts
I bit the bullet and finally settled on some gifts for my baby boy!!!
we got him the Chicco sport coupe remote control car
tickle me elmo...a total surprise but he whigged when he saw it at tru
FP SIlly Sounds remote
a broom 
two Melissa & Doug puzzles
and his first box of crayons. 
I know he saw the Elmo already but I am hoping he doesn't remember. 
so happy to have FINALLY decided on something. notice most things he can still walk around the house with.

TJ has the remote and loves it - it keeps him away from our regular remote and the cordless phone.

I got DS that car, and maybe I didn't install batteries well or something, but it stopped working in 20 minutes.
It had awesome reviews online. I bought one for our nephew too!

Nice!
We got DD the Tickle Me Elmo for that same reason. Also, DD got a bunch of those Melissa & Doug wood puzzles for her bday and she loves them. That remote is on the 'wish list' but for now she's content w/our old remote.
I'm digging the broom though. It would be nice to have a little help around the house

DD had the remote and she looooved it...she has both those puzzles, and I must say she got so good at puzzles just from those melissa and doug puzzles, she now looooves any type of puzzles

LOVE the remote, just put it on our amazon wish list so i don't forget about it.
I still have my original tickle me elmo, DH (then just BF) got it for me when they were impossible to find. Kept it all these years for my now DS.

Nic, I got the broom at toys r us. Luce is obsessed with brooms and mops. he marches are the house all day "sweeping".
he also loves doing laundry. seriously, this morning he was standing on a chair next to dh helping him through clothes in the washer  this sticks through puberty

DD has that remote - I put it away last year and took it out again this year to pass down to DS... poor boy doesn't have a chance. She still loves it!

its so bizarre, but Logan is the same way. His absolutely favorite thing is taking the garbage out. DH says, "Do you want to help me take the garbage out?" and L says, "YEAHHH!!!" - gets his coat and waits by the garbage pail. It's the highlight of his day.

That remote was on DS's wish list. I need it for him so he can hopefully let go of the real one
