I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, my dear dear friend... Conigs25... had her 8 week appointment today and no progression was seen and no heartbeat was heard. I'm not sure of the specifics she had to make may other calls, but I believe she said that they saw a large gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole and no heartbeat. Forgive me if I messed any of that up!
The doctor said she will need a d&c. As I'm sure you can all understand, this is a very difficult time for her, and she asked me to post on the pregnancy board for her - but I figured that most of you don't check there and would want to know as well.
Let's all pray for her and her DH to have the strength to get through this and that they have the blessing of a healthy pregnancy soon.
