So we cancelled our trip :( We can submit medical documents to support DH being unable to travel and can hopefully get some money back, but he's in so much pain and I really don't want to travel by myself and leave him when we are supposed to be celebrating our anniversary. Plus, tickets are nontransferable so we couldn't change his ticket for someone to go with me.
Oh well, hopefully we will get to go away another time! Now I'm stuck with my inlaws all weekend who are here to watch our DD

I am sorry that your trip was cancelled.
Is your DH on anti inflammatory meds?
DH specializes in spine. He said drugs or a cortisone steroid shot could help short term. Many of DH's patients exhaust other treatment options before he operates on them.
