No way. A fever before 3 months is an automatic hospital visit with a spinal tap!

This, but I was told 2 months. My DS (thankfully) got his first fever at 10 weeks after his first week of daycare. No hospital visit. Just a dr's visit.
ETA - the "thankfully" was for not getting it before then, lol. not that he got one at 10 weeks.

im staying home you made the right call. If your lo got sick it would be an automatic hospital stay with spinal tap.

Yep. I know from personal experience when my DS was hospitalized at 5 weeks with a fever. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. You made the right decision!
