I have a $900 8x10 rug in our den, bought in 2006, I love it but originally I bought it for under a dining room table in our old house. Its okay here in the den, matches and all that but I hate it b/c it is dark and shows every single piece of lint & I'm just fed up with it constantly looking linty and having to vacuum.

Would you roll the rug up & store it away (we have no other place to put it) & spend $800 on a new one you found and loved that won't show as much lint? Or just suck it up and continue to vacuum 3x/day b/c you think it was expensive?!!

I would sell it on craigslist and put that money towards the new one
