WWYD
I just got asked to be MOH at my best friends wedding (6 weeks after my due date) I already have a DS 15 months so I will have 2 under 2. I REALLY want to be in her wedding (she was my MOH) but I'm stressing out big time on how I can pull this off. Oh and most likely I will be BFing (did it the first time around too) Would you do it or back down, I just got asked.

Re: WWYD
I would do it as well. It will be difficult but I think it can be done. I wouldn't want to let her down.

Re: WWYD
I would do it. Maybe you can get someone to take care of the kids that day and try to enjoy it as a day with your friends and hubby.

Re: WWYD
I would do it but with the caveat that I would make sure my friend was okay knowing that if anything happened, late delivery, complications etc, that she would be okay if I needed to back out. It seems like you should/will be okay but some brides would be mega stressed by this and others would not care. But if you are both okay with assuming you will try to be there but might not be able to I say GO FOR IT!

if it means a lot to you than i would do it. i think if you want to do it then you will find a way to do it. as for breastfeeding....maybe you can pump some bottles so that someone can help you out with the baby that day

Re: WWYD
I am in a wedding 8 weeks after my EDD, DH is the best man.
I figured we will make it work. I did tell the bride and groom to be I was planning on bringing the babies with us and they were totally fine with it. My parents are invited to the wedding so I know they will help with the girls. And DS is the ring bearer.
I think it can be done. Its up to you if you want to do it and make that comittment. It's not just the day of, but its also planning bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc.

Re: WWYD
I guess I am odd man out. I would not do it. I would feel like that is too much pressure to be having a baby (and Mom of 2 under 2!) and be a MOH with planning the shower and Bachelorette party, etc. Maybe be a reader and help when you can but don't have it all on your shoulders. It would stress me out until it is over and you have a new baby to worry about not her wedding.

Re: WWYD
if being there for her means so much to you, then i'd do it. go get measured for your dress NOW!
I agree with Kim, I personally couldn't do it. I'd offer to do a reading or something similar.

Re: WWYD
I would do it. She was your MOH so obviously you two are very close. 6 weeks is a good amount of time - you will def. be in a groove with the kids by then.

Re: WWYD
I would do it!!
I was in my SIL/BIL's wedding party 12 days after having DD, I stressed the whole pregnancy - will the dress fit?!?! what will I look like postpardum?? -
The dress was taylored in 2 days The wedding was a blast - and in hindsight I would have been disappointed if I missed the opportunity to be a special part of their day....
I am sure BF gave lots of thought to asking you knowing the situation you will be in......
as for BFing - I can't offer any advice there, but since you've done it before - I wouldn't sweat it.....
GO FOR IT!!

This is what I'm worried about too, how am I going to attend a bachelorette party with this super preggo belly??
Its not only the wedding, its the pictures, the rehearsal dinner, speech.... I'm semi-freaking out about this...I know when DS was that age, (6 weeks) he was nursing like every 2 hrs, even if I pump ahead of time and someone else feeds the baby, I'm still going to have to go to the bathroom to "release"
