WWYD 5yr old Bday party (classmate)
So I just RSVP'ed via voice mail haha
Saturday is the Bday party
on the invite she puts the child's size in shirt, shorts and pants.
She actually sent the invite TWICE. once last week and another on Monday as a reminder.
Do you think its bad manners if I go get my favorite bday standby of M&D stuff?
Plus she sent invites in Strawberry shortcake is it safe to assume she's a fan?
WWYD?
I think its odd to bring clothes to a classmates party.. but am I wrong?
PS: the party is at CEC (chuck E cheese)

I think it is fine to give something else, plus if she put the kids size most people will probably get clothes and I am sure the kid would appreciate a toy

Yes, definitely toys. We have never bought a classmate (or any friend) clothes, especially at that age.

I think it is fine to give a toy or clothing. I am not sure I would give character clothing though. My kids have only received clothing twice and both times were when the parents asked me what to bring and I said clothing.

I would just give a toy. People have such different tastes in clothing.
3yo DS needed clothing right around his 3rd birthday. He had no shorts/t shirts for the new season. I still didn't request clothing when people asked.

I think M&D is Melissa and Doug.
I would go with that or something Strawberry Shortcake related.
