WWYD? Re snow and DD's bday party
DD's bday party is scheduled for tomorrow at 12  The brunt of the snow is going to be tonight and early morning they're saying...the party is in Brooklyn, and we're in western nassau...would you postpone or keep it as is for now and see how it is tom morning and if we decide to postpone last min just eat the cost of the food entertainment etc that we have booked?????

I know this is upseting for you...
I would call all your vendors this morning to see what their policy is about cancelling or to see if they can rebook you for next week.
If this were me, I would be cancelling for tomorrow. I would not want to put anyone in danger of driving from LI to Brooklyn in Blizzard conditions.
Trust me, your DH will not know the difference if her party is this weekend or next weekend.

thaks ladies! We are posptoning and cancelling for tomorrow I think I'm more upset than DD bc she has no clue whats going on..thankfully our vendors are all understanding and we're trying to find a date to reschedule!

Aww... if it makes you feel any better.. I was born in February.. and my parents were moving from queens to long island the year of my first birthday.. I didnt have my birthday until JUNE!!!! But I had no idea.. its all good... and Im glad you were able to cancel your vendors.. thats very nice of them!

We're having our party next week. 12/26 is a pretty good day for vendors--there isn't much going on that day. I also got so many "yes" RSVPS that I had to change locations. I was able to get great deals on entertainment. See if they will work with you for the 26th.
No snow for next week!
