WWYD?
DH is going to kill me for even considering this...
I don't know why it never dawned on me, but our everyday plates don't match our dining room.
Room: blue paint, black furniture
Plates: white with green fern accents
So either I find someway to tie them all in together (decor, etc.), or get new plates. (We won't be re-doing anything in the house for a long while so there's no chance that the color or furniture will change anytime soon.)
So... what would you do?

Re: WWYD?
Do you leave the table set with them at all times, or are they put away? if they are put away, then when you dress up the table for company just dress it up with earth tones that tie in with blue & green

I would keep them. Just try to tie the two color together. Do you leave these plates on the table at all times?

Re: WWYD?
why are you using your everyday plates in the dining room? aren't you eating in your kitchen and using your china in the dining room, which are neutral?
i think you are worrying too much about it! i wouldn't worry if my plates matched my dining room. i have blue plates and my dining room set is blonde wood and 70's green chairs, for now

We don't leave the plates on the table, and for right now, we don't have a table in the kitchen
I think I'll just get a runner that ties everything in together... thanks everyone!

Re: WWYD?
I read somewhere that you should have at least 3 colors in each room.
Blue black and green go fine.
When you put some artwork up (if you haven't already-just make sure there is some green in it.

i was wondering if that was the case. i guess once you have a table, if you get one, then you won't have to worry. until now i think a table runner is a good idea. i love all those colors and i'm sure they look great together

Re: WWYD?
Just cover the plates with food..... then either it matches, or nobody cares because they are too busy eating....

Re: WWYD?
I like the idea to incorporate green in accessories/decor/art work so it's all cohesive.
