wwyd - maternity clothing prob
So i bought my 1st maternity clothes this past weekend from destination maternity and i went to put on the pair of jeans i bought yesterday. As i was putting them on, they ripped - like a horizontal rip right on the thigh, kind of near the pocket.
Im only 12 weeks and i tried them on in the store, they weren't too tight at all, just like the material is not good quality i guess.
Im pretty annoyed - they were on sale, but still i paid $40 for them. Obv i took the tags off... think the store will take them back or im just SOL?

Definitley take them back! They should exchange them without a problem because they shouldn't have ripped in the pocket like that. Besides you just bought them.
I've put on PLENTY of pairs of jeans that I had to squeeze into, knowing they would be tight and they never ripped like that.

Absolutely take them back! I had this problem with a pair of jeans I got from Coldwater Creek (not maternity) -- the pocket ripped part off during the first time I washed them. I brought them in and they exchanged them immediately. Most stores can just return them as defective.
I've found that maternity jeans stink like that. Sorry you had that problem!

I would return them bring all the tags and receipt with you and if you have a hard time I would call the corporate store (not that I think you would have a hard time)

Take them back! Their quality of clothes is not good at all for the price they charge. I mean I'm biased bc I neever like that store or their styles but you're better off shopping at ON, Gap or Target.
