WOW! WOW! Questions on an application for a job with a Religious Affiliation
Yesterday we had a religious organization come in with the discussion of them hiring some of our recent grads. I know because they are an official religious organization that they get to fall under some different rules, however, I was SHOCKED at some of the application questions!
How do you respond to someone of authority
Do you drink alcohol
What month and year did you become a Christian
What is your church affiliation? How long have you attended this church?
Have you ever been involved in the practice of speaking tongues?
Do you currently practice speaking in tongues?
Explain why you believe in God
Have you ever been involved in any homosexual experiences? If so, explain
In the past 12 months have you had any struggles with pornography?
Have you ever had an abortion, or have you ever had a sexual partner who has had an abortion as a result of your relationship?

The speaking in tongues stuff is SCARY! Do they want to hire people who HAVE spoken in tongues or the opposite????

Is it wrong for me to say that I want to apply for a job with them, just so I can provide "wrong" answers for them?
Example: Have you ever spoken in tongues?
Response: just write non sensical things and explain that you're doing it right now.

I would look at this application and chuck it. Speaking in tounges?????!!! EXPLAIN a homosexual experience????!!!
If I didn't know it was for real I would think its a joke some people are trying to get off on.

Do the responses to those questions make any difference in whether or not someone would be able to do the job?
I work in recruitment and those questions would be totall illegal where I live and work.

becuse they are a religious addiliation it makes these question legal.
I am glad everyone thinks that they are as crazy as I do.
