i switched ob/gyns for North Shore Manhasset. I didnt like the hosp. my old gyn was affiliated with, and i preferred a practice, but did the switch b4 getting prego to make sure i was happy w/the doc of choice, it worked out well for me...thanks to annbrunoxo for the tip!

I switched when i got pregnant so i could deliver at winthrop for their nicu just in case and thank god i did. i had an emergency c section at 32 weeks and spent the next 10 weeks visiting ds in the nicu!!

The hospital was one of the factors when I chose my OB/GYN.
