I've learned in my life that some of the most incredible, intelligent, caring, nurturing people in this world don't have a college degree. In fact, my DH didn't when I first met him (he was 31!), and he is quite honestly the most brilliant person I've ever met.
I would judge someone for their character, not their academic experience, when it comes to caring for my child.

I don't think formal education can replace the hands on experience when it comes to children (or most careers actually). For MY child, I'd choose B in a heartbeat with NO reservations.
