YES, I would. I see nothing wrong with it. My question is, if you had DD, would DH freak if you bought her a tonka truck?

Exactly! I don't get why we are suppose to be open to letting girls play construction workers but not be open to boys owning and playing with strollers.
A toddler pushing a stroller is not going to "Make" him a homosexual. And perhaps we would not have problems with men helping out around the house and caring for their children if we were supportive of our growing children being nurturing as they are growing and learning as toddlers.
ETS: I am not saying that anyone on here said that it makes their son Gay. It just frustrates me that we see it as a feminine act to push a stroller and care for a child.

I will be the only one to say, No I would NOT buy my son one (I only have girls though). Nor do I find any fault with boy mommys who do buy one. It's just not my choice.

No need to. DS takes DD's stroller sometimes... ... and she takes his Transformers and cars....

I don't know that's I'd take it upon myself to choose one for him - but if HE asks for one, I'd get it for him.
I will fully admit to avoiding anything frilly and pink and girly - but I dont' see a problem w/ him playing w/ a stroller.
I've said before, my DH is a 35 year old man and pushes a stroller ...........

ITA with this and furthermore, as others have stated, they see their daddies pushing strollers, so whats the difference?
And if you don't want to get a pink one, I've seen that they have ones that look like the Rainforest/Ocean wonders line

Landon has one - a pink one actually! Its one of his favorite toys. DH doesn't mind. DH pushes DS in the stroller so what is the big deal?
Exactly! My DH pushes my DC in a stroller all the time. He also changes diapers, bathes them, and feeds them, so why shouldn't a little boy be able to have baby dolls and strollers. My DH or does not mind if my DS plays with dolls and strollers. We also don't mind if my DD plays with trucks, cars, and trains.

I would if he seems to like it. That's not going to "do" anything to him. My nephew loves playing with dolls and princess stuff - it doesn't mean anything. Hey - "gril" stuff is fun:)!

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a stroller for DS. That being said, DD has 2, so I won't stop him from playing with them.

Re: Would you buy your DS a doll stroller? (with poll)
My DS loves his doll stroller! Its one of his favorite toys, and has been for the past year. Unlike many of his much more expensive toys.
I had to look far and wide to find a blue one... as my DH was dead set against my son strolling a pink carriage. I was fine with whatever color, I mean, fun is fun... and DS doesn't understand that pink is supposed to be girly. I couldn't believe my DH was pitching such a fit.
I was shocked at how hard it was to find a blue one- It would be nice if toy makers would stop genderizing toys, especially since there are as many daddies pushing strollers around in my neighborhood.
Hope your boy has fun with his new wheels!

My DH did throw a fit, not only because its a doll stroller but because of the color. It's mainly blue with pink poka dots....I told him I could have purchased the ALL pink and purple one!

Re: Would you buy your DS a doll stroller? (with poll) - **UPDATE** DH REACTION
When I was pregnant with DS2, my mother bought DS1 a blue baby stroller and and baby dressed in blue for DS1 to learn to take care of! Basically to learn what it would be like with a new baby in the house. I think at first we thought "a stroller and a baby for a BOY!" But then when we thought about it we knew it was right.
Now please don't flame me, but for the people who would in no way buy one for their DS. Please think about this.... As mother's to boys how can we instill nurturing in them? I see alot of women who complain that their husbands aren't thoughtful enough, helpful enough..and so on when it comes to the children or recently Mother's Day. KWIM?
I certainly don't think that letting them playing with a stroller and doll is going to make them "gay" if that is why you wouldn't purchase a stroller for a boy. To me that's just ridiculous.
Anywho just my 2 cents!

My ds has a baby doll dressed in blue. Dh is fine with it as long as the baby is bottle fed He doesn't want ds to nurse the baby hehehe Next is a stroller so he will stop stealing his cousins' stroller.

My husband would have a heart attack. Me, not so sure I would buy him his own, but I would be fine with him playing with one if he was somewhere where one was.

I would not care if my DS wanted to play with a doll stroller but I can see how my DH would be old school about it. It's just a toy...not a big deal to me.

Re: Would you buy your DS a doll stroller? (with poll) - **UPDATE** DH REACTION
I mentioned this topic to DH yesterday. At first he was kind of like , but then I brought up the point that it would be DS playing daddy, and asked him how come it is ok for DD to play mommy but not for DS to play daddy. I said YOU fed the babies and YOU push the stroller, so why is it bad for DS to want to do the same things? He then said he never thought of it like that, and then was fine with it.

If he's anything like mine (who was so against it), he'll get over it quickly. After no time at all, he'd even bring it with him to the park for DS to play with.
