Would you bother getting your DC the flu shot at this point?

I was on the fence about vaccinating my DD and I have her well visit coming up. Not sure if its even worth thinking about it considering flu season is almost over (hopefully). Any thoughts?

It is up to you, but I would probably skip it at this point. I got DS the flu shot in December.

Well at this point I would skip it unless you have a trip planned for the spring or think there is increase risk for catching the flu. Flu season peaks I think in Jan and feb but can run as late as May.

nope, esp since you were on the fence to get it to begin with.

I would. We tend to have a later flu season here in NY. I believe it runs through April. The seasonal flu usually doesn't even hit NY until Feb. I actually got my flu shot last year in March.

I see that you are due in April, so I would do it only to try and protect the baby as much as possible when she/he comes.

My ped says flu peaks in Feb/end of Feb and goes all the way into April or so.

I am still not giving it though, that being said. We did get one swine but I am not getting #2 either.
