After you get your positive opk, does the line go clear quickly the next day? LIke positive one day and very negative the next?

wondof question
no its usually the opposite. for me they get darker once they dry. if you are unsure if its positive (they can be tricky sometimes) i would keep testing and BD for good measure.

Re: wondof question
I'm 2 month post partum and we without any protection not realizing where I was in my cycle until after. So now I'm trying to see if it's likely I will get pg. The OPKs are negative

Re: wondof question
I'd be CD 16 right now and the OPKs are negative. When I got pg with DD I would O around CD 16-18 so I'm thinking I possibly Oed already and didn't test. So I'm thinking it's possible I could get pg so soon after having DD. Do cycle patterns change after pregnancy and birth?

Re: wondof question
I don't think there's any way to gauge whether a + or - OPK now means you Oed, especially when you're only a couple of months pp because your cycle could be wacky, you could be ovulating, or not. My suggestion is to consider using birth control since it's dangerous for your body to get pg so early.

We weren't / aren't trying to get pregnant. I'm trying to figure out if we close to O because we didn't use protection. I was supposed to have the mirena but someone at the office didn't order it. I was told this at the appointment I was supposed to have it inserted. Not that that's an excuse but I just didn't realize where I was in my cycle until after. I don't know what I'm going to do if I have another baby so soon! Obviously I will love any child I'm blessed with but it's been tough so far and I'm just getting through PPD.
