Winthrop ladies
For those who did classes, which classes do you recommend? I wasn't actually planning on doing any but figured I'd ask if any are worthwhile. Also, how necessary is a tour?
And.... when are these things usually done?
Is it safe to say I'm kinda clueless?  I've been to Winthrop once in HS when my best friend had lung surgery. At least I think it was Winthrop. It's possible I was never there at all.

I only did the tour. It was helpful so you are really set for what to do and where to go when it's time.

We just did the birthing class this past weekend. It gives a good time line but I felt I knew most things from this board and from some of the reading I am doing. We have tour Thursday night so I can't comment on that yet.

Winthrop ladies
From what I was told, the only way to do the tour was to do the lamaze/birthing class. We skipped that. From what I was told, the nurses and dr will walk you through all that. The tour would have been helpful though. We did the infant CPR (highly recommend) and the free orientation.

We did the tour through a birthing class at my dr office. Being a first time mom I found it very helpful.
