winterizing sprinkler system
DH and I need to have our in ground sprinklers winterized. My father offered to do it himself (just using a compressor to blow out any water in the pipes).
Is this a good idea? Does anyone know if there is more to winterizing than getting rid of the water?

What you Dad will do with the compressor is exactly what a company will charge you for  My DH does ours himself the same way...

Yeah, do it yourself!!!! My dad showed DH how to do it, and he did it this year by himself.

definitely do it yourself the only difference with having someone else do it is they usually have a huge compressor so you can pay them to do it faster but the end result is the same
