Hmmm this thread is making me want to give it a shot. . .
Me too. I've been so on the fence with this, but I think I'm going to give it a shot since so many people are saying how easy and CHEAP it is.

Once you do it the first time, you won't stop. It's the easiest thing to do! If you have any questions, feel free to FM me!
Also, check out www.wholesomebabyfood.com, it was a help to me in the beginning!

ok So , I made carrots for my daughter and it was so EASY. I gave it to her and she made a face but ate all of it. The next day she wouldn't eat it. I tried to mix it with oatmeal and she ate a little. She loves her formula so I gave her that and the carrots and oatmeal in between. I feel like am forcing her to eat it. She really doesn't seem like she liked it. She look at it and keep her lips very shut. lol .
Anyone have this experience? I feel like carrots aren't that bad. I think they are sweet. I hope she is not picky ;o(
You just have to keep trying. They say it takes something like 10 times for them to decide whether or not they really like it. Also how old is she? She just might not be ready yet.

Re: Why make your own baby food??
My reasons when I started: Fresh, organic, very inexpensive. I was in total control of what she would eat and didn't have to worry about where it came from. It was also really easy.
In hindsight, DD, 3 years old, is a GREAT eater, she pretty much has eaten what we eat since she was a year. It was easy to make this happen. She is always willing to try new things and likes almost everything.
