IMO it's just gross....there is no reason that you have to bring your dog into a store - ESPECIALLY a grocery store or deli where there is food. Comparing children to dogs is a little different, last time I looked my children didn't lick their ***.

The sign that says no dogs is usally next to the sign that says shoes and shirts must be worn.

I agree. I dont mind seeing them in the mall, but when you are in a grocery store then there are health issues. You are around food and they should not be in the grocery store.

i must be honest here, i have seen sick children in grocery stores (or adults for that matter) with runny noses and coughing and sneezing and sorts and touching food and stuff. to me THAT is much worse then havign your toy dog in your purse in the basket.

I get a little annoyed when people compare children to pets. There is no comparison. I have a dog and I will never put Dexter (our dog) on the same level as my child. They are not human and IMO do not belong in public places like banks, retail stores (except Petco, Petsmart, etc....), post offices or food establishments.
I don't see why people can't leave the dog/cat at home when they have to run those type of errands.

i would like to add, if i had a BIG dog i wouldnt bring him out. i have women come into my store with big dogs and they get excited and take up room and know things with their tails, but i honestly see no harm weh nit comes to dogs that are like 5 lbs!

her husband was allergic to her saliva and paws.
when i bring her i HOLD her. she doesnt go on the ground. Doesnt get in anyones way. doest bother anyone.
I mean, MOST people who bring their dogs out bring them so because they ARE well behaved, you dont see tons of ppl bringing out wild attack dogs to the friggen mall.
as for the fair for me but not for others.. no way! i totally dont believe that! i believe its fair for anyone to bring their dogs out. i wish moreppl would.
i get ****** when ppl tether up their dog outside my store. i MAKE them go get it and bring it inside.
