Whose STUPID idea was it. . .
to try to go through the mortgage process when I can't even have a Xanax or a nice glass of wine to calm me down!!!!!?

LMAO! Tell me about it! Oh yes and once we actually GET the mortgage - we are going to be living in my CHILDHOOD BEDROOM while we rip the roof off and do complete renovations to the house - which will most likely NOT be completed by the time the baby gets here.
I swear, I used to be a smart girl - but now, I just don't know what I am thinking sometimes!

I blame it on nesting. We started kitchen renovations a week and a half ago so I know the feeling. I don't know what we were thinking! My due date was last week, but it seems the construction noise has scared off

I hear you...DH has FINALLY got the motivation to start the bathroom re-model.
Our ONLY bathroom.
I'm already stressing out about the mess he's made just taking measurements & prying things off the walls to see what he'll be dealing with.
I'm moving back to my moms for all of this

I'm going through the same thing, just bought a house and doing huge renovations while living in the same room I lived in for 10 years as a teenager...only this time, sharing it with DH! 
It really sucks but stick to a schedule and before you know it, it'll be over...

We are going to be going through something similar very soon....we are redoing our roof and gutting our entire attic and second floor...I don't know what we are thinking. I am probably going to have to live with my parents while all the construction is being done!
