who's watching you LO?
I work full-time and plan on going back at least 3 or 4 days a week full time. My mom and I were talking about what our plan would be for the LO. We planned on having daycare a few days a week and then the other days have parents or inlaws watch him/her.
Wondering who's watching everyone's LO during the week, especially for FTWMs.

I will be...at least for 6 months to a year. My goal was to finish school before baby so I could take some time off...my other DC will be 4 and in part time preK in the fall, so I'll be home w/baby. If in a year I get a job, baby will go to daycare, if not, I'll continue to be at home until I find a job.

MIL 5 days a week when I first go back, as of now.
I work at a school. I plan to take 6 months off, which would have me going back end of April. Until June MIL will watch LO 5 days. Then I am off for summer. In the fall of 2014 when I go back for good we will have MIL do 2-3 days and daycare the other days - LO will be about 10 months by then. That's the current plan.

When I go back..DH... he works at night and mostly from home (own business) so that is the current plan.... if there are any bugs in the plan we will have to address them as they come...

I worked my DS' 1st year and my parents watched him. I'm mostly a SAHM now but do work on Fridays. My parents watch my DS (and will watch the baby) on Fridays. I also work Saturdays but DH is home.

I plan to stay home as long as I can. Then daycare.
I would love to have family watch her, but they are either too far away, not available, not interested, or not reliable.

I am currently unemployed so me for now. When I get a job we are still figuring out the details. We are both in construction and jobs usually start around 7AM, which means we're out of the apt by 530ish depending where we have to go. Problem is the daycares don't usually open until 7AM. Our mom's can do only a few days, but still have 2 days where no one can watch him.

My mom initially and when LO gets older we'll see how it goes and maybe incorporate a couple of days of daycare or a nanny so she gets a break and baby girl has some other interaction.

Right now, DS is in daycare 4 days a week and my MIL watches him once a week. I hope this will continue with the next one.
All of our parents still work full time with no sign of retiring anytime soon.

My mom and dad. They have watched my DS since he was 6 weeks old. Same for this LO. My dad retired 2 years ago, so they asked me if they could watch this LO. I was going to hire someone b/c i didnt want to assume they could do it again.
But thank god for my parens!! im a RN and i work FT but its only 3 days a week.
So my parents will have the baby 2 days a week, and my husband will have the kids one day on the weekend.
