Who planned your shower?
Just curious who planned/is planning your baby shower.
My MIL paid for the shower, but because she lives on cape cod and couldn't be down to oversee the organization part, my bestfriend did all of the research and planning and reported back to MIL.

I planned it. My mom and sis gave what $$ they could, but if I was going to pay for the bulk of it I kind of wanted to plan it

My bestie at the time supposedly threw it even though my stepmom paid for everything, picked up everything, decorated everything, cooked everything! Go figure....lol

my parents threw it for me, my MIL contributed as well. My mom asked me my advice about things but i said you can do whatever you want.

My mother and MIL split the cost of the restaurant. My MIL offered input into the theme and paid for the cake I chose from Dortoni's but my mom did most of the planning - games, purchasing favors etc...

My mom and I picked the place and worked on major details - she knows that I'm a little "Type A" and like things a certain way so she consulted me on it a lot. She paid for everything at the shower. She also paid for special gifts like his homecoming outfit, memory box, a surprise gift for DH, and outfits that ended up being used as part of our CP's/decor. My sister helped with a lot of the details and picking things out - we did a lot of it together, the three of us.
My MIL gave me money for flowers to decorate the tables and gave me money towards favors.

Mine was a surprise and was planned by my dh and some of my good friends.
eta: the only thing I was in charge of was the guest list.

We had a separate one for DHs side (different states) and MIL did that.
But my besties through me the most amazing, rad surprise shower.
