ME!!!!!!!!
oh and not by choice my kitchen is too small to fit one

Me!!!! I haven't had one in the 29 years I've lived in my home. However, I am thinking about putting one in if I can convince my husband to move some cabinets.

Me too...my kitchen is too small. our next house definately has to have a dishwasher....but that won't be for a while, since we just bought our house about a year ago.

The house we bought has a portable dishwasher (which I haven't attempted to try yet). The counter/cabinet space where the sink is didn't have enough room for a dishwasher...they would have had to extend the counter so this was like a quick fix. We do have a big enough kitchen for it so we will eventually redo the kitchen and add more counter/cabinets to it so we will get one then. Honestly though I haven't had one since I lived home 13 years ago so I'm fine without one (although I will use it when we have parties).

Our house has no dishwasher - it's not that bad with the two of us, but when company comes over it S*CKS!
When we remodel the kitchen we'll get one then.

we only use it when we have guest over...
we are only 2 people and we clean up as soon as we are done in the kitchen

We have one - in the garage in a box! The previous owners didn't have one. I look forward to having it when we do the kitchen over soon. It's a real PITA not to have one and I hate having a zillion dishes spread over the countertops to dry after a meal.

after 6 longs years I finally got one, and I cant believe I went that long without it.
Our kitchen was small too, so we had to take some cabinet space out, buty it was worth it

I installed one myself, about 10 years ago. We didn't have one, and just couldn't manage spending that much time hand-washing. I had to build a cabinet, butcher-block top, run the plumbing and electrical, but it was definitely worth it. Now, with two DC, we run it pretty much every night. Couldn't imagine not having one now.

when we bought our house it didn't have one... DH insisted on adding one ( i thought we could manage without one  ). we took out a cabinet and added it, and i'm SOO glad we did! we only run it about once a week, but its still better than handwashing everything! i have no idea how the people before us managed without one- they had two kids!

We don't! But we ordered a coutertop one the other day. I'll let you know how it works after we get it.
We are looking at buying a house now and it's first on our list but I can't go another week having to wash everything by hand. It's such a pain!

The kitchen in our house is older and on the smaller side and has no dishwasher. With baby #2 on the way it is a HUGE inconvience!!! I can not wait till we redo the kitchen!

The previous owner didn't have one (nor did she have a clothes dryer  ). One of our next projects is to gut the kitchen and we will install one then. For now, with the 2 of us, it's manageable without one.

My last two houses did not have a dishwasher. We just moved into our new house in May, and I FINALLY have one..it was a MUST this time around. I can never go back to 100% handwashing again, LOL! So much easier to pick up the kitchen quickly I think.
