Lived in Bethpage for 23 years then got married and moved to Pensacola, Fl then Corpus Christi, Texas then Little Rock, Ark and now we are in Navarre Beach, Fl (photo below taken this morning)

I am almost embarrassed to say this but I've never been to Staten Island.
Do you know how many people have said that to me in my life? Either that or they've only driven through it on their way to NJ or on their way to LI.

we live in jersey now, only tie to LI is where we had our wedding...
Edgemont is just a neighborhood, right? It has a school district, but no ta PO or anything. I think where Felecia lives is considered Edgemont.
Westchester is so confusing like that.
Other than my street, I'm not sure where else the Eastchester/Scarsdale border is. All I know is that my address is Scarsdale, but we are in the Eastchester school district & the parking on our street is regulated by the Town of Eastchester.

I'm finding all this westchester talk fascinating since I have been working in Valhalla since Sept., and I'm constantly making home visits to various neighborhoods. I'm slowly learning my way around.

I grew up in Westchester /have lived here my entire life and STILL it gets confusing!
Heather is right .. My PO is Scarsdale .. but we are in the Edgemont School District (its what makes our co-ops so appealing to those with kids, the Edgemont SD is great) Yet at the same time I am considered Greenburgh bordering Hartsdale village (for ex, Hartsdale train station is where I allowed to apply for a parking permit for Metro North)
If ya wanna get technical, I don't really consider us Scarsdale residents at all. I am very far from the village of Scarsdale and I'm sure most of the True Scarsdale-ites would shun us!  (J/K) So I consider us more Greenburgh/Harstdale than Scarsdale.
As for Eastchester/Scarsdale... that gets tricky. Eastchester really borders/is part of Yonkes for the most part. Its far more Yonkers than Scarsdale .... just like Crestwood sort of borders Scarsdale but is technically Yonkers.
Though I do know the fringe part you are talking about Heather!!
Jackie - did we confuse you yet?? (Valhalla is "upstate" from where we are, but I do love it there)

DH parents have a Scarsdale PO but Eastchester SD. They live off 22 near Eastchester Fish Gourmet and Happy Days (really good pizza!)

I grew up on LI, lived in Queens for 8 years (post-college) and DH and I recently bought a house in Putnam County. Still happy to be a New Yorker!

I grew up in Delaware, went to Hofstra for Grad School, met DH, stayed in LI for a couple of years and then my job moved to New Jersey and I went with it!

we live in manhattan (upper east side). i grew up in the bronx (throgs neck) but parents moved to seaford 10 yrs ago. DH grew up in medford.

ahh, ok, that I would consider Eastchester, I didn't know it had a Scarsdale PO, but DH worked in a store that is now Old Navy & I think he said that had a Scarsdale PO.

ANd Felcica, I liekto pretend Greenburgh doesn't exist.
DH was on a jury for a crime that took place in Greenburgh & they asked if anyone on the jury lived in Greenburgh & no one was positive.
Hartsdale doesn't have a PO does it? When I look up Hartsdale on Realtor.com it always comes up Greenburgh.

I know where that is! I used to live in Mount Vernon, near the Fleetwood train station. I used to get my Hair down in Yonkers/Bronxville.
