Re: Who do you use for oil?
Where are you located?
We're in Lake Grove and we use Swezey (they're located in Patchogue) They're very reasonable and VERY helpful!

Re: Who do you use for oil?
We use TRagar, located in Wantagh. They are green oil company - they use a blend of soy bean oil and "regular" oil, so it burns cleaner.
We're looking to replace our burner this year as ours is 50 years old.

Re: Who do you use for oil?
we caught a good deal with Slomins and locked in a rate. Since your burner is so old, might be good to get a service contract.

Re: Who do you use for oil?
we use Davis Fuel and have a service contract with them, but i should say we went with them bc previous owners had 8 months left on the service contract and he said he would roll that into our contract if we signed with him

Re: Who do you use for oil?
We use Tragar and are very happy with them. We also have a free service contract with them even though our burner is old.
Be careful when shopping around - especially for service contracts. We started with General and they offered us a free service contract but then they came to clean our burner and rejected our free service contract. They didn't even tell us until we went to get it serviced and received a bill!!! They told us our burner was too old and not safe and we didn't qualify for the free service contract. They have a clause in their contracts were they can opt out if they want but we were still stuck using them for a year.

Re: Who do you use for oil?
We use Abalene.
They are GREAT! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They are a family team. And they remember us and our situation. We had an old burner too, and upgraded this year. They did it all for us.

Re: Who do you use for oil?
I use Heat USA which is an oil buying cooperative. They pair you with a local oil company.
You get oil delivered at close to COD prices, and they have the oil company provide a free service contract.
I have my service contract with General. They aren't too bad. But then again I haven't had any major issues yet.
