My birthday is 2 days before, so I usually get 1 gift for bday/vday. 
This year, we're not exchanging Vday, and we're going to AC (in March) instead. We already bought tix for Brad Garrett at the Trop!

and boosh of course
but boosh and i both think that V-day is an overhyped stupid holiday, so we aren't doing any gifts this year
we did them when we were dating and it was all "cutesy"
but now that we are married we forego a big v-day thing and spend more on anniversaries, where it is our day and no one else's.

This year hubby and I will just go out for a nice dinner. Cards and something small for parents, my brother and nieces and nephews/cousins.

I get a small gift for DH and send cards to my 5 nieces and nephews. We go out to dinner, but we don't go on V-day itself. We pick another night and go the week before or after. We went out a few times on V-day, but the restaurants were overcrowded, overpriced, loud and had bad service. So we celebrate, but not necessarily on V-day.
