Which diaper pail?
We have been doing some research since we are getting ready to register. I am not a fan of the diaper genie (although I haven't used one in about 10 years)... what other options are there and what works best? We are thinking about the Clean Air one that has a filter inside of it.... reviews are mixed (but better that most others). Any help would be appreciated!

We registered for the Graco one. Figured although it uses air filters the fact it uses regular kitchen garbage bags.

I'm sure this isn't any help, but the only ones I have tried are the Diaper Genie(hated it) and the Diaper Champ(loved it).

We originally registered for the diaper genie but I read bad reviews about it online. So I changed it to the diaper champ, which got better reviews.

I never used a diaper pail. I would throw all the poop diapers out right away.

We never used a diaper pail, i keep bags in DD's room and everytime we change a diaper in her room, it goes in a bag and straight downstairs into the garbage. The idea of keeping dirty diapers around always grossed me out.

We have the Diaper Champ and love it. You can use regular garbage bags in it so you don't have to worry about buying refills.

I'm not using a diaper pail, but I did hear that the Diaper Dekor is rated very high. You should also look into that one.

I've been using the Diaper Champ since August and it's good - but in the last month or two it's been very smelly, even if I empty it often.

after reading all the reviews online and in baby bargains, i was going to go for either the diaper champ or the diaper dekor, but the diaper genie II has gotten very good reviews so i chose that instead.

We have the Diaper Genie right now in DS's room and one downstairs. I empty it twice a week and have no problems. I want to get a new one (preferably one without special bags) for the babies room.
Where did you ladies find the reviews you are referring to? On the Babies R Us website?

We have the diaper champ and love it! You can use your own bags and we never had a problem with it getting smelly (we always sprayed it with Lysol before we put a new bag in).

That is our plan. I can't imagine keeping a poopie diaper in the room or the house.

We registerd for this one but didn't get it but no biggie cause I was going to nix on the diaper pail all together and just take em out when I change those lovely smelly diapers.
