Where to Go???
I am so confused, my DH said our budget is $2,000 (womp womp) for us and our 5yo...everything is so expensive, I looked everywhere and everything is $3,000+ we are TTC going through IVF this cycle so trying to avoid areas near S. America.
Looked in Bermuda the flights are great but hotels are $$$
We have been to Florida, LA, St. Marteen.
I looked on apple vacations, groupon, living social, every travel site lol.
Looking for a budget friendly place by the beach to relax with nice water and fun resort for our DD.

Where to Go???
Myrtle Beach? Another mom just posted about her awesome flight deal on Spirit for Spring Break week. I think she said Sunday to Friday was like $70 round trip each!
ETA Spring Break at the end of April, not Easter

It's no frills, but it's non stop, so I feel like you can't screw that up. I used to fly them ALL the time to go back home in the day before they charged for everything. I'm talking 15 years ago, and I never had issues!

It's no frills, but it's non stop, so I feel like you can't screw that up. I used to fly them ALL the time to go back home in the day before they charged for everything. I'm talking 15 years ago, and I never had issues!
Spirit is pretty much the only game in town to Myrtle. We fly them frequently since we have a condo down there.
If everything goes well - they are great. But, the bad tends to be very bad... We've had more good experiences than bad but, the two bad ones we had were horrible.
If I was going elsewhere with many non stop airline options I wouldn't recommend them.

Where to Go???
If you are going June - September I recommend Rehoboth Beach, DE or Ocean City, MD. They are both driving distance and make for nice and relatively inexpensive family vacations.

SO expensive. I found one out of Baltimore for $2600 and that's the cheapest I could find for 4 (but 3&4th free)
ETA: Sorry I didn't answer the question, but what about Cape May? When are you going?

I stayed at Sanibel Inn - it was nice, nothing fancy but I liked it a lot. The rooms have small kitchenettes which is a nice feature. Ft. Meyers is the closest airport - I think it was about 20 mins from the airport to the island.

When are you looking to travel? Does it have to be tropical? There's always Block Island, Newport, or even Fire Island to avoid airfare altogether. Or Cape Cod and/or Nantucket. We haven't been able to afford a big trip in the last few years but we try to make do with what we have.
