where does BF fit into your bedtime routine?
do you nurse your baby before your bedtime routine or is nursing the last thing you do before bed?
on one hand, if i nurse right before bed, i am afraid my DD will associate feeding with sleep. but then again, if i nurse her first and then do the bedtime routine, she is no longer drowsy and it takes me more time to get her to bed.
just curious as to what other mommies do. thanks.

DS is 11 months. We do book, nurse and then bed. On the occasion that I need to leave to go somewhere, I will nurse him then DH will read his book and put him to bed. I'm not nervous that DS associates nursing with bed. I made sure that I would always nurse him after he got up from a nap and not before, so he is able to go to sleep at those times without the breast.

I nurse before bed. I used to nurse her to sleep, but that stopped around 6 months. Now I nurse her and put her in bed awake. Some nights she might play for a while and then fall asleep but she is pretty good about going to sleep on her own. On nights I need to be out, I nurse her and then she will read a book or play until it's her bedtime.

DS is 5 months old now and I nurse him to sleep but when he turns 6 months I will start doing this.
