Bedtime routine for 6 weeks old- 3 month olds?

What do you do for a bedtime routine? Sophie seems so cranky and tired about 7:30-8 pm but I don't want to put her into bed because I know she will be up at 3 am ready to play. Can she really go from 8 pm to 6 am sleeping with just getting up to eat? So we wait until about 10 pm to feed her and put her to sleep but by then she's screaming. What itme does your DC go to bed and how old? And what's your routine?

Thanks!

I'm not sure I really understand the question, but I'll share what our routine was. We were lucky in the sense that our DD would wake up to eat when she was hungry but after she ate she'd be right asleep again so it didn't matter to me that she'd wake at 2, 3, or 4. So we never really bought into the keep her up later b/c she'll sleep later b/c she didn't. If she needed to eat every 4 or 5 hours then she'd wake 4 or 5 hours later no matter what time she went to bed. So we were putting her to bed at b/w 8 and 9pm and when she was young we were racing to bed as quickly after that as possible so that we could get as much rest as possible before getting up again. I'm not sure if that helps, hope so.

ETA that even before she was sleeping straight through the night we still had a bedtime routine. We ate our dinner and then around 7pm (it was summer though so still light out) we'd take her for a walk in the stroller to kind of calm her down, then a bath around 7:30 and then her bedtime bottle after that
b/w 8 and 9 and then into her swing which would put her to sleep then we'd move her upstairs.
