Where do you think I'd do better (selling some clothes)?

I have lots Chat Icon of stuff that DD's never worn...all with tags. Some really nice dresses (Christmas dresses, 2 in particular), some other random things.

Do you think I'd be better off putting them on the Swap thread on here, or going to Once Upon A Child or something like that.

I mean, I paid $50 for some of the dresses and know I won't get anywhere close to that back...but I don't want to go through the hassle of doing both if I don't have to.

Thanks!

def. I would try ebay and or a garage sale before Once Apon a Child.

On ebay I've gotten like $5 for stuff of my DSs. I def. wouldn't get that much at Once Apon a Child.

Ebay first
Individual listing for party dresses
Lots of everyday items (I like lots of 5-10 pieces).

Garage sale: you won't get much at all

Last resort: consignent stores.

Ebay or on here....

Honestly...Before you go to a consignment shop...I'd look into donating the items to goodwill..

Last year we donated a ton of stuff (clothes) and got a huge deduction on our taxes...plus it felt great being able to donate...

We "made" more money donating the stuff than selling it to a place like Once Upon a Child....

You're right. We donate a ton of stuff each year and do really well with the deductions. Definitely something to consider!!

I've considered doing that with my wedding dress...you've sparked my interest again!
