Where do you put your handbag
when your driving and someone is in the passenger seat? Just wondering

on the floor on the passenger side if it's DH or a close friend or family member (too bad for them! BUT I don't usually carry bags that are too big so there's plenty of room)....if it's someone I don't know as well, I would put it on the floor in the back seat, like behind the driver's seat

It depends on how big my bag is.
If it's my big, every-day bag, on the floor behind my seat.
If it's a small purse or clutch, sometimes between the seats or between me and the driver's side door.

Same here, a friend's window was broken once at a red light and they took her bag right off the passanger seat!

I usually put it on the passengers seat if no one is in the car with me. If someone is in the car, I jam it between me and the driver side door.. no matter how BIG my bag is... every now and then I'll put it on the passengers lap..
I never even think about putting it in the back seat.. I always feel like i'll need something in there.. I'm a real a$$ about it..

I always keep it in the floor right under my right leg. I keep it pushed close against my seat and my middle console. It doesn't interfere with my driving. I just like it there. I can reach in and out of it if I need something.

Between the seats (on my center console), at their feet or I ask them to hold it.
The only passengers in my car are DH, a friend, my mom or my sis.
