Where do you keep peanut butter
Dh puts it in the fridge and it bugs me.
I like it to stay in the cabinet. There is nothing worse then trying to spread hard peanut butter on to soft bread.
Where do you keep it?

pantry! The last time I made PB&J I put the PB back in the fridge for some unknown reason, mommy brain moment. I couldnt find it next time I went to use it and was SO mad when I found it in the fridge.....like you said nothing worse than cold hard PB.

I used to keep it in the cabinet (what my mom always did) Then I got "Better'N Peanut Butter" and it said "Refridgerate after opening" so I did. Turns out I like my PB cold!

Cabinet. We use Wild by Nature PB which is organic and tastes good too.
It doesn't need to be refrigerated which is why I love it so much!

If it was skippy I would keep in pantry
but
My DH got me hooked on the all natural (only ingredients are peanuts and salt) and the oil separates and is hard to get past it but if placed upside down in the fridge, the oil hardens and mixes better and therefore easier to get out and spread! SO that is what I have been doing since we've been married!

I use organic and always keep in in the fridge. I always toast the bread when I make sandwiches for my kids, so that helps with the spreading.

Skippy in the fridge. It's how we did it when I was growing up.
I think my mom was concerned about bacteria in the fridge and I just do the same.

DH does the same  you can't schmear cold Peanut butter it stayis in teh cabiniet
