Where did you go to day care/nursery school- if you went?
I went to the Childrens Community in Dix Hills- i loved it!!!! I alwasy wonder if any of my old buddies from there are on here

I never went to daycare. My mom paid a lady to babysit when she had things to do. I grew up in Jamaica until I was 8 years old.

my mom worked a few days a week until i was about 5...those days I would go to my aunts house..until I went to school

Me too...except it was "El Jardin del Niño" in my hometown in PR. I was 3 and so happy!

never went to day care. My mother was a SAHM till i turned 12. ALWAYS wanted to go. I think i would be more outgoing and less quiet if i went

I went to Kindercare for all of one day. I was crying and a mess (I think my momsaw other stuff she didn't like) and my mother took me to an Episcopal Church daycare after that, and I was much happier, or so I am told (I don't remember the Kindercare, but I do remember loving my other daycare.) Later on I stayed afterschool with a lady named Bunny. She watched about 5 kids and that was a normal, happy experience. I think her real name was Beverly? but we just called her Bunny. How funny now that I think about it.

I went to Pattycake Playhouse in Brooklyn until the school buses went on strike. Then I was a nursery school dropout!

My mom was a SAHM, but I did go to nursery school at Bright Star in Oceanside and St. Marks in Rockville Centre

No daycare.
But I did go to Nursery School at the Learning Tree in Maspeth.
Me and my mom were just talking about this the other day........I used to cry all the time and it always made her feel so sad. I used to wait at the fence and wait for her to come. I feel bad I did this to her cuz I know its an awful thing to deal with as a mom.

Well, my mom went back to work when I was 6 weeks old and my great uncles watched me until I was about 3 and my sister was born, then we went to a neighbor after school (my sister went full time) until we were about 10.
But nursery school, I went to Miss Mella's first and then a montessori school that I can't remember the name of anymore.

no day care- I had a baby sitter
then I went to nursey school and pre-K- and kindergarden somewhere- I can't remember
Kindergarden was on half day at the public school and my Mom wanted me to go to full day
