we just decided on a one from BBB. We hadn't really foiund any we liked for what we wanted to pay--- so we are just doing a solid. Pier 1 has some nice patterns though.
We are getting rid of our current ones from Crate & Barrel. They are 5 yrs old and have not held up well.

I have 2 everyday sets.. One set of Corelle, which takes a beating and still looks new. Can buy anywhere. Another set, stoneware, very pretty but chips easily... from Macy's.

I had the PB Sausalito and hated them because they were too big and heavy. Finally got Corelle and I love it! Great if you have kids too.

I loved my Lindt & Stymeist, but DH is clumbsy and @$25/plate I couldn't take it.
I bought this from IKEA:
$15 for 18 pieces - now when a plate breaks, I don't really care.
