When you send out Christmas Cards....
Do you write a little note to each and every person, or do you just write

Very best wishes for a wonderul Christmas/ Holiday and a happy and healthy new year.
Love,.....
But, I make things harder on myself  Next year it's all photo cards all the way!

That's what we did and it already has "Merry Christmas from Our Home to Yours" on it, so all we did was write envelopes.
DH wasn't happy with that!

Usually write something more than to and from but then I get into trying to vary the sayings if it is to people who are in the same family because I don't want them to compare...It's really rediculous because I am sure people don't even care

DH addressed 2 envelopes and called it a day! Sounds like our wedding thank yous....

I only write little messages to certain people. Both of my SIL's b/c we all have our own little nicknames for eachother and inside jokes. Everyone else gets the standard

I've always written lengthy notes in each card saying what we've been up to, etc...This year I am only doing that for family and friends that we rarely see. It's time-consuming.

I just finished mine. I write a little note in each. For people we don't know well, it's something like
"we hope you have a wonderful Christmas/Hanukkah and a happy and healthy new year!"
For people we know better, we maybe mention contrats on your new job, or have a great trip if they are spending the holidays away.
But usually it is not too long.

This year we did photo cards so I wouldn't have to write a message because we'll be doing our wedding thank you's soon.

I do photo cards..this year I did one for our moving announcement/christmas card. And I wrote a note on everyone of them...all of 170 (and still going!)

depends... if mailing a card (more likely, sending an e-card) I write a book.... because I'm not seeing the person during the holidays. If handing them a card, I just write merry christmas or happy hannukah and happy new year...
